I got this error and could only get office to install by installing it on a pc with windows xp pro on so I could change the temp folder permission. It worked. Not even on MS's site. (big surprise) June 13, 2011 Vishal Gularia Great!!!! by R.
In fact, this software worked great on this laptop -- until i formatted and re-loaded the OS.
